Mind the Maker Weighty waxed cotton (oilskin) is tear resistant, very durable and it ages beautifully with aesthetically pleasing creases and colour permutations.  The weighty waxed cotton has structured drape with will soften up once work and used.  Waxed cotton is ideal for outdoor clothing such as jackets, hats and bags.

Please note that some oil transfer can occur from the fabric to other fabrics and materials.  This will be less as it dries out over time when aired and used.  It is recommended to use a proper lining such as a tightly woven poplin, quilting farbic or broadcloth.
